Borneo Alami Ecotourism is an ecotourism program in Kalimantan/Borneo Island. This program is promoted to support conservation program of Kalaweit Society. It invites people to experience and explore the beauty of Borneo Island, Indonesia. In this tour, people can enjoy the beautiful nature of the exotic island, stay and trek in a pure tropical rain forest, find the unique tradition and culture of Dayak tribe, and meet orangutan.
Loksado, Meratus Mountains Waterfall, hot water springs, floating market, Balanga Museum, Hampapak forest, Tumbang Melahoi traditional village, Rungar cascade, and Tanjung Puting National Park, are the tourism objects of Borneo Alami Ecotourism. We invite you to enjoy and get the wonderful tour.
Get closer to the nature, the unique culture and tradition by trekking to Meratus Mountains, rafting, living at the traditional house, watching the traditional dance, and visiting floating market.

 ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arriving in Banjarmasin – Loksado
Day 2: Loksado – Waterfall – Bamboo Rafting – Hot Water Springs – Traditional House
Day 3: Tradtional House – Banjarmasin
Day 4: Floating Market – Departure

 
Find out the hidden art and culture of Dayak tribe by visiting Balanga Museum, living in the traditional house (long house/rumah Betang), interacting with its resident in a real condition of their traditional life, and enjoying its traditional art performance. Besides that, you may also feel and enjoy the nature by visiting Hampapak forest and rafting on Rungan cascade.

Living on Kelotok (traditional boat) and trekking in Tanjung Puting National Park as one of natural wonders of the world. The best known animals in Tanjung Puting are orangutans. You will meet orangutans in their real habitat, interact with them, and watch orangutans feeding time. You will feel the purity of the air and see the sunsets. Besides that, it is also the habitat for more flora and fauna, such as gibbon, crocodile, proboscis monkey, leaf monkey, macaques, slow Loris, pangolin, clouded leopard, tarsier, wild cat, python, king cobra, muntjac, variety of birds, iron wood (Eusideroxylon zwageri), Meranti (Shorea sp.), kantung semar (Nephentes sp), mangrove, alluvial, etc.
